william tucker
William D. Tucker is an actor and writer who lives in Atlanta. Most recently he has written/directed/acted a series of one-man plays: Resurrection of Porno-Style Wars, Armored Patrist, and Headache Inferno-which is a kind of ongoing, ever-mutating synthesis of writing and raw discovery in the moment (improvisation). He has acted in productions of Routines! by Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Trial of Superheroes and Prisoners of Gotham by Cameron Stuart, Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov, and is the writer/director of Magnificent Forge which had its world premiere at the OAF House's Slusher Street Theatre in Tallahassee, FL (you know, that crazy shed in the back). He has acted in the cult classic films The Persistence of Fiction written and directed by Luis Gonzalez and filmed on location in Tallahassee and Gainesville, FL; I Love Zombies written and directed by Cameron Stuart and filmed in Tallahassee, FL; and the award winning short Panels for the Walls of Hell, shot in Atlanta, GA. Panels won an award at a German film festival, played at Slamdance, and will be featured at DragonCon '08 in Atlanta. He is currently working on a number of things all at once (his mind is a battlefield), including a play called Road/Block, which will hopefully materialize before the end of the year. He can be reached at:williamdtucker2099@gmail.com
